Restricted accounts help keep things in check when control over content access is essential—whether you're managing what kids can see or setting up a focused user environment. Here's how to set one up from start to finish.
A restricted account is a tightly controlled user profile. It only shows content that’s been explicitly approved by the administrator. This setup is ideal for situations where access needs to be limited—like for children or shared devices in sensitive environments.
The administrator decides what appears on the home screen, and users of the restricted account can’t browse outside of those choices.
Start by logging into the app with two accounts:

Important: This PIN can’t be recovered if lost. If forgotten, you’ll need to remove and re-add the profile.
Go back to the account switcher and repeat the steps to open settings for the second account.
Note: You don’t need to turn on Profile Lock for this account—just Restricted mode.
To make changes, you’ll first need to unlock the restricted account:
