After nearly two years of development and testing, Syncler 2.0 is finally here — bringing a refreshed interface, improved performance, and a host of new features and fixes. You can view the full list of updates and improvements here.
When you're ready to switch, follow the steps below to install and configure Syncler 2.0 to your preferences.
Tip: It's strongly recommended to complete the initial setup on a mobile phone or tablet. These devices offer a more convenient typing experience, which can make the process much smoother. Once setup is complete on your mobile device, simply log in on your Android TV or Fire TV — your settings, provider packages, and customizations will sync automatically.
Don’t have a mobile or tablet? No problem — you can follow the same steps directly on your TV device.
If you're using Syncler+, make sure to back up your key before uninstalling or migrate to 2.0.
Follow the guide here to backup your Syncler+ key.
It's generally a good idea to uninstall any previous version first. That said, you can go ahead with a standard in-place update if you prefer. Either way, you'll need to set everything up from scratch afterward.
If you don't have an older version installed, you can skip this step.
To upgrade to Syncler 2.0, you’ll first need to uninstall any existing Syncler 1.x version from your device. After that, you can download and install version 2.0 from the official website, using either a Downloader code or via the Unlinked app store.
Important:
Uninstalling Syncler 1.x will erase your current settings, installed provider packages, watch history (unless they’ve been synced with an external tracking service like Trakt or Simkl), and your Syncler+ key.
Heads-up:
We understand this might be inconvenient, so older Syncler 1.x versions will remain usable for as long as you need. You can migrate to version 2.0 whenever you're ready.
Now you're ready to install the latest version of Syncler:
