Ready to get started with Syncler? Follow this quick guide to install the app, sign in, and configure everything from premium features to third-party integrations.
First things first — make sure Syncler is installed on your device.
Follow the installation guide available here to complete this step.
User accounts in Syncler are used to log on any device you install the app on. User accounts will also have the following saved in order to sync across devices: Syncler+ key, custom home screen, saved vendors, installed packages, third party accounts/services, enabled content catalogs, continue watching sort order, setting backups.
Once you’re signed in, you’ll be taken directly to the home screen.
If you don’t have a Syncler+ key, feel free to skip this section.
If you’ve backed up your key during the uninstall process, keep it handy — you’ll need it to activate premium features.
Follow the activation steps outlined here.
Syncler supports integration with popular services like Trakt, Simkl, Premiumize, Real-Debrid, and TorBox.
To link your accounts, follow the setup guide here.
If you plan to use Syncler for streaming, you may see alerts on the home screen about missing vendors or provider packages.
If you're not interested in streaming content through Syncler, you can safely ignore these warnings and skip this step.
Note: Syncler does not include any vendor URL by default, and we cannot provide one.
We do not host or distribute any content. If you're unsure where to get a vendor URL, you might find options by searching online for:
Syncler vendor URL
You can customize your Syncler homepage to better match your preferences. Learn how here.
Once you’ve got everything configured the way you like, it’s a good idea to back up your settings. That way, if you ever need to reinstall or set things up on a new device, restoring your setup is quick and easy. Learn how here.
Note: Backups made in version 2.0 of Syncler are tied specifically to your user account and can't be used across different accounts.
And that’s it — you’re now ready to explore and stream with Syncler!
You can always return to Settings at any time to fine-tune your setup or explore additional features.
Need to set up Syncler for someone else? You can do it remotely, and it's more straightforward than you'd think. Here's a step-by-step guide.
Be sure to read through the entire process before starting.
Before touching the target device, complete the setup on your own device first (ideally a phone or tablet for easier typing). Just follow the regular setup guide above with a few key changes:
If Syncler is already installed on your device, you must clear app data and start fresh before continuing.
In Step 2 of the setup guide, create a brand-new account using a dedicated email and password for the other person.
You'll share these login details with them once everything’s ready.
If you’ve personalized your setup in Step 7 (custom home, Syncler+ key, installed vendors, etc.), make sure to create a backup. You’ll use it to mirror the configuration later.
Once done, they’ll have a setup that mirrors yours—including:
A full, remote setup—no need to touch their device directly.
When assisting friends or family in setting up their devices—particularly when sharing access to Syncler+ along with individual debrid services and tracker accounts—it’s important that each person uses their own Syncler user account. These accounts function independently and do not require logging into multiple user accounts on the same device.
Important: Avoid logging into both your user account and another person’s account on the same device unless you are all part of the same household and connected to the same home network. Doing so outside of this context may unintentionally link non-admin users to the admin’s debrid services.
